Most of our service remains pay-for-what-you-use, like disk, RAM, and CPU usage. Only bandwidth is moving away from that model because the people using most of it aren’t our customers, they’re attacking our customers. As much as we would love to make those people pay for what they’re using, we haven’t found a good way to do that. Yet. 😉 -jdw

thanks for all your work and transparency! despite doing away with ‘pay for what you use’, this is still an extremely reasonably priced service for the amount of flexibility and honesty, and that’s worth the cost for me.

Sounds reasonable- especially if you do establish a full domain registrar that actually supports free speech. As we have learned, that would be the first such registrar. Good luck.

This is a crazy price decrease for me since I only run one dynamic site with a 24/7 daemon. I could even run it as “non-production” but will opt to run it as a production one. Good luck with the ICANN accreditation.

As others have pointed out, it’s entirely possible to do quite a lot of hosting here for a few dollars a year. If that’s disappointing, I’m sorry to hear it, but we are not and have never pretended to be a free host.
