Oh boy, I can’t wait to see how Django performs here! VPSes begone, if it does well! But, part of an issue will be installing various python libraries and/or using virtualenvs. Some of those libraries requires a build toolchain, etc.

Very interesting! I wonder if it’d be possible to have a daemon using long polling in the backend (or whether that would interact badly with the other layers).
